When God blesses you, be careful with whom you share that blessing for not everyone will rejoice when God blesses you. Do not assume that everyone will be grateful that you have been blessed. One needs discernment to know who to share these blessings with. There are those who are envious, jealous and mean-spirited. You might hope that when God blesses you, all will rejoice. Unfortunately, that is not always the case. Matthew 6:6 guides us about an aspect of prayer and reads:
“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”

Matthew provides instructions about prayer. We are to go into our secret closet, knowing that our Father who sees in secret will reward you. Shut out your surroundings and spend quality time with God. Whatever you need, give it to God. In whatever way that he blesses you, stay humble and do not boast. Acknowledge His gift. There is a time for both public prayer and private prayer and a difference between them. Keep some prayers between you and God. I am learning that some things, I can only tell God. I remain quiet about some of His blessings, for not everyone will understand. Spend time with HIM and let that be between God and you.
