We have all seen (hashtag) ” Monday Motivation !” posts on social media but to be frank – most people dread Mondays.
As we anticipate what was left undone from the week before or what may arise ahead, we may forget how simple it is to have a good day.

In today’s brief blog, we’ll explore three simple signs of a good Monday or a good day in general.
- When you are able to arise and decide how your day will go, it’s a good day. Conversely, your usual routine pans out, yet, however mundane it may be, it is still good day. This doesn’t mean that being caught by a train on the way to work, is a marker of the opposite, or that you’ll never have a good day because you work a 9 to 5 and don’t live a #bossbabe ‘entrepreneurial’ lifestyle. Routine and structure to our daily lives is something we often seek and then complain about.

- You’ll interact with others today. Life is about connecting with others, someone making you laugh or you doing the same for them. Engaging in conversations that fill you, such as that daily phone call from your mom or best-friend. A good day is incomplete without meaningful interactions.

- If you are looking forward to tomorrow, you’ve had a good day. You’ll survive Monday, and its predecessor. The next day is unwritten, yet, you’ll anticipate and spend your night preparing for it. Birthdays are once a year, holidays too – you never know what lies in tomorrow that will make it special also, deep down, you know that.
