According to NPR, The Biden administration is extending its student loan repayment pause — which was set to expire at the end of the year — into 2023 while its promise of federal relief remains hung up in court.

Loan repayments will resume 60 days after the debt cancellation program is implemented, 60 days after the lawsuits are resolved or 60 days after June 30, if litigation fails.

The repayment pause does not mean that interest has not been, and will not continue to accrue. If you are able to make payments, that would be in YOUR best interest , pun intended.

If you have not yet applied, I will inform you when applications are open again.

As we await the court decision, I will continue to bring you up to date information on student loan repayments. Thank you, for allowing me to be your trusted source!
